Privacy Policy

Tiny Bites (“Tiny Bites”, “we”, “us”) is a baby-food and weaning app for parents and caregivers. This policy explains what information the app handles and how your privacy is protected. It applies to the Tiny Bites Android app (package com.proapps.tinybites).

The short version

No account and no sign-up. Everything you add stays on your device.
We don’t run servers and we don’t collect or receive your baby’s data.
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device’s advertising ID to serve ads.
Reminders are created and delivered on your device only — nothing is sent anywhere.
Delete everything any time in Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling.

1. Information stored on your device

Tiny Bites keeps everything you create locally on your phone (in the app’s private storage). This may include:

Baby profile(s): a name, age/stage, feeding style, diet and any allergens you flag;
Foods you log and how they went, saved recipes, planner entries, milestone stickers;
Your app settings (units, theme, reminder preferences).

This information never leaves your device through the app. We have no backend server, so we cannot see, receive, store, or sell any of it. It is not linked to your identity because there is no account.

2. Information we collect

We, the developer, do not collect any personal information directly. Tiny Bites has no login, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK. The only data processing that involves a third party is advertising, described next.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Tiny Bites is free and is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob and Google may collect and process certain device information, including your device’s advertising ID, IP address, general device information, and ad-interaction data. This is used to deliver and measure ads and to limit repetition and fraud.

Tiny Bites requests non-personalized ads where supported, but AdMob may still use device identifiers for essential purposes such as frequency capping, aggregate reporting and fraud prevention.
Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and the AdMob / Google Ads data disclosures.
You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

4. Notifications

If you turn on reminders, Tiny Bites schedules gentle notifications (for example, meal-plan reminders or a weekly tip) that are generated and shown entirely on your device. There are no push servers and no device token — no notification data is transmitted to us or anyone else. You can turn reminders off any time in Settings or in your device’s notification settings.

5. Permissions we request

Internet / network state — to load ads.
Notifications — to show the optional on-device reminders you enable.
Run at start-up — so scheduled reminders survive a device restart.
Vibrate — for the cook-mode timer and reminder alerts.

We do not request access to your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera.

6. Optional actions you take

Sharing a recipe or shopping list uses your device’s standard share sheet; you choose the destination, and the content only goes where you send it.
Sending feedback opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. If you choose to send it, your email reaches us with whatever you write; sending is entirely up to you.

7. Children’s privacy

Tiny Bites is a tool for parents and caregivers. It is intended for use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any information about your baby is entered by you and stays on your device.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control:

Use Settings → Data & storage → Delete all data to erase everything instantly.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights over personal data such as access, correction, deletion and objection. Since Tiny Bites keeps your content only on your device and we do not collect it, you can exercise these directly through the controls above. For the advertising data processed by Google, please use your device’s ad settings and Google’s controls linked in Section 3. If you have questions, contact us below.

10. Data security

Your information is stored in the app’s private, sandboxed storage on your device and is protected by your device’s own security (such as your screen lock). No method of storage is completely secure, but because your data does not travel to us or over the network through the app, its exposure is minimal.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
