Privacy Policy — Sprout: Calm Kids Routines
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Sprout: Calm Kids Routines (“Sprout”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) is a daily routine app for children, operated by a parent or guardian. This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. Sprout is built to be private by design: your family’s information stays on your device.

- We do not have accounts, logins, or servers.
- We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information or your child’s.
- Everything you create — routines, tasks, stars, the garden, the child’s name and age, any photos or voice notes — is stored only on your device.
- The child part of the app is ad-free. Ads appear only in the grown-up section, and they are non-personalized and family-safe.
- The app is free; a grown-up can leave an optional tip (which unlocks nothing), handled by Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.
Information we collect
We (the developer) do not collect any personal information. Sprout has no user accounts and no backend. All of the following stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else:
- The child’s profile (name, age, chosen buddy, reading level)
- Routines, tasks, schedules, stars, rewards, and the garden
- Optional photos you attach to a task, and optional voice recordings you make
- App settings
You can delete all of this at any time using Settings → Start fresh, or by uninstalling the app.
Device permissions
Sprout only requests a permission when you use the optional grown-up feature that needs it, and any resulting file stays on your device:
- Camera / Photos — so a grown-up can attach a picture of what a finished task looks like, as a visual cue for the child. The image is saved locally and is never uploaded.
- Microphone — so a grown-up can record a short voice-over for a task. The recording is saved locally and is never uploaded.
Advertising (grown-up section only)
The child-facing experience contains no ads. In the grown-up section (reached only by holding a button and answering a question), Sprout shows ads through Google AdMob.
To serve ads, AdMob may access a device advertising identifier and limited technical information (such as device type and general region). Because Sprout is designed for families, we configure AdMob to request non-personalized ads only, apply child-directed treatment, and limit ad content to a general-audiences (“G”) rating.
AdMob’s handling of data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Learn about Google’s advertising practices here.
In-app purchases (optional tips)
Sprout is free and every feature is available to everyone. The grown-up section includes an optional “tip jar” — a small, voluntary tip to support the app that unlocks nothing. Any purchase is processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your payment details (such as card numbers or billing address), and we do not collect any financial or payment information. Google’s handling of your payment is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Children’s privacy
Sprout is intended for children under adult supervision and complies with the Google Play Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The child-facing part of the app collects nothing and shows no ads; all child data remains on the device. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, contact us at greysonmiller67@gmail.com and we will help.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell or share personal information. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, and only for showing ads in the grown-up section, as described above.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives only on your device, you control it. Remove everything with Settings → Start fresh or by uninstalling Sprout. We hold no copy because we never receive one.
Security
Your content stays on your device. Ad requests to Google are made over secure (HTTPS) connections. Because we never collect your data, there is no central store of it to breach.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will change the “Last updated” date above when we do.
