Privacy Policy

The short version

Siren has no accounts and no login. Your game progress stays on your device. The app shows ads and offers optional purchases, both handled by Google. We, greybits, never receive your personal information.

Information we collect

greybits does not collect or store any personal information about you. Siren works without an account.

Two Google services inside the app do process some data to do their job: Google Play Billing (when you make a purchase) and Google AdMob (to show ads). What each does is described below.

Your game data stays on your device

Your progress, stars, unlocked levels, settings, and a record of any purchases are saved only on your device. They are not uploaded to us and we cannot see them.

Uninstalling Siren deletes this data. "Reset progress" in Settings clears your progress while keeping your purchases and settings.

Siren shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To choose and measure ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and limited technical information such as approximate location (from your IP address) and how you interact with ads. Depending on your device and consent settings, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.

greybits does not receive this information; Google's handling of it is covered by Google's own Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit ad personalisation in your device settings (on Android: Settings, then Privacy, then Ads).

Purchases

Siren offers optional one-time purchases, such as removing ads and cosmetic items. Payments are handled by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card details. Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether the purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.

Children

Siren is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a Google service used by the app, please contact us so we can help.

Data security and retention

Because your game data lives on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections. The data is kept until you clear it in the app or uninstall Siren. Any data processed by Google for ads and purchases is retained by Google under its own policies.

Your choices

You are in control:

Reset or limit ad personalisation in your device settings.
Use "Reset progress" in Settings to clear your saved progress.
Uninstall Siren to remove all data stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Siren after an update means you accept the revised policy.
