This Privacy Policy explains how the LingoTots mobile app (“LingoTots”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. LingoTots is a language‑learning app designed for young children. We take children’s privacy seriously and have built the app to collect as little information as possible.

Summary

• LingoTots does not require an account and does not ask for any personal information such as a name, email address, phone number, or photos.
• All of your child’s progress and settings are stored only on the device. We do not upload them anywhere.
• The app works fully offline. The only time it connects to the internet is to load ads.
• LingoTots shows family‑friendly, non‑personalized ads through Google AdMob. To serve these ads, AdMob may collect certain device information (such as a device identifier). See “Advertising” below.
• We do not sell your data and we do not collect personal information from children.

Information We Do Not Collect

LingoTots does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details
• Precise location
• Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts
• Any account or login information (there are no accounts)

Information Stored on the Device

To remember where your child left off, LingoTots saves a small amount of data locally on the device only, including:

• The chosen learning language
• Game progress and stars earned
• Sound and animation preferences

This information never leaves the device and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Advertising

LingoTots is free and is supported by ads provided by Google AdMob, a Google service.

Because LingoTots is directed to children, we have configured AdMob to comply with child‑privacy requirements:

• Ad content is limited to a “G” (family‑friendly) rating.
• Requests are tagged as child‑directed and for users under the age of consent.
• Only non‑personalized ads are requested. This means ads are not based on a user’s interests or profile.

To deliver ads (including limited functions such as frequency capping and preventing fraud), AdMob may process certain device information, such as a device identifier and general (non‑precise) information about the device. AdMob’s handling of this information is governed by Google’s policies:

Children’s Privacy

LingoTots is intended for children and families. We designed the app to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families Policy, and applicable data‑protection laws such as the GDPR (including provisions for children). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are non‑personalized and family‑rated as described above.

Data Security

• You can reset your device’s advertising identifier in your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
