Privacy Policy — Huely

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Huely is a color-matching runner game published by greybits. This policy explains what the app stores, what it shares, and who to contact about it. It is written to be accurate rather than reassuring: where data does leave your device, it says so.

The short version

What stays on your device

Everything you do in the game is stored locally, in the app's own storage:

None of this is sent to us. There is no server holding your game, and uninstalling the app deletes it from your device; we have no way to recover it afterwards.

If Android's backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include this game data in your device backup and put it back when you reinstall Huely or set up a new phone. That backup is kept in your Google account, not by us, and you manage it in your device's backup settings.

Advertising

Huely shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: banners at the end of screens, plus one at the top of the play screen that you can close; a full-screen ad after every third finished game; and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch to continue a run that has just ended.

To serve those ads, Google's advertising SDK collects and processes:

Google uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and acts as an independent controller of it. What it does with the data is governed by Google's own policies:

Huely starts Google's advertising SDK only once the consent step described below is done, never before it. Until then, nothing is sent to Google for ads apart from that consent check.

You can remove the ads with a one-time in-app purchase, Remove Ads or the Everything Bundle; continuing a run then needs no ad either. From the next time the app starts, Huely does not start the advertising SDK at all, so none of the above is collected.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

Before Huely requests any ad, it checks with Google's consent service. Where your answer is needed, it shows you Google's consent form, which asks whether ads may use your data, and waits for your answer. Your answer is stored on your device by Google's consent tool and sent with ad requests, so that Google can honour it. You can change your answer at any time from Settings, then Ad privacy choices, which reopens the same form.

On iPhone and iPad

Huely asks only for non-personalised ads on iPhone and iPad, and it never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt, so your device's advertising identifier is not used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Purchases

Huely offers optional purchases: Remove Ads, an Everything Bundle, seven cosmetic items, two boost crates, and a tip jar that unlocks nothing.

Purchases are processed entirely by the app store you installed the game from: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone and iPad. The store tells the app which items you own so it can unlock them. We never see or receive your name, card number, billing address or any other payment detail; the app only learns that an item was bought.

Items you keep, such as Remove Ads and the cosmetics, are tied to your store account, so reinstalling the game restores them. Boost crates and tips are used up when they are bought and are not restored.

Analytics

Huely contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own. We do not track sessions, screens or events, and we receive no reports about how you play. The only data Huely itself sends anywhere is described under Advertising and Purchases.

Links out of the game

Rate Us and More Apps, in Settings, open Google Play in a browser tab inside the app. Huely sends nothing to that page; it is Google's page, and Google's privacy policy applies to it.

Permissions

On Android these appear as declared permissions: internet access and network state, for ads and purchases; the advertising ID and Android's ad-related Privacy Sandbox permissions, for ads; keeping the device awake briefly, for the ad SDK's background tasks; billing, for purchases; vibration, for haptic feedback you can turn off in Settings; and audio settings, for music and sound effects. Huely asks for no location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage access. On iPhone and iPad the game asks for no permissions.

Children

Huely is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact greysonmiller67@gmail.com and we will act on it.

Data we hold about you

None. We operate no servers and have no database. Because the game has no account, there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete; deleting the app removes your data from your device, and Android's own backup, if you use it, is managed in your Google account.

Requests concerning data held by Google, for advertising, or by the app store, for purchases, must be made to those companies, using the links above and your store account settings, because we have no access to it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, and to object to it being used for advertising. Since we hold no personal data ourselves, those rights are exercised as follows:

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the updated policy appears both here and inside the app, under Settings, then Privacy Policy.
