Privacy Policy — Gondly

Gondly ("the game", "we") is a cable-car puzzle game published by greybits. This policy explains what the game does with information, in plain terms. It applies to both the Android and the iOS version of Gondly, published under the identifier com.proapps.gondly.

The short version: Gondly has no accounts and collects nothing about you itself. Everything you do in the game is stored on your own device. The one part of the game that reaches the internet is its advertising, which is described in full below.

What Gondly collects

Nothing. There is no sign-in, no account, no profile, no email capture, no analytics and no crash reporting. The game does not ask for your name, your contacts, your photos, your files, your microphone, your camera or your location, and on neither platform does it request a system permission that would let it read any of them.

We never see your scores, your progress or how you play.

What is stored on your device

Gondly saves your progress locally so the game remembers where you were. This includes:

• your best altitude and your lifetime totals, such as runs played and passengers carried
• your progress through the levels, including which ones you have cleared and earned gold on
• your Daily run results, your daily streak and your progress on today's missions
• which Collection items you have unlocked, how many ads you have watched toward each one, and which ones you have equipped
• your settings — sound effects, music, haptics, high-contrast passengers and reduced motion
• whether you have already seen the introduction
• a backup copy of all of the above, kept beside it so a damaged save can be recovered

This data stays in Gondly's private storage on your device. It is not uploaded, not backed up to us, and not shared with anyone. You can erase all of it at any time using Settings → Reset all progress, or by uninstalling the game.

Advertising

Gondly is free and is paid for by ads from Google AdMob. You will see:

• a small banner at the end of the game's screens, and one above the cable cars while you play, which you can close for the rest of your session
• a full-screen ad when an endless run or a Daily run ends, and after every fourth level you finish
• optional ads you can choose to watch — to unlock an item in the Collection, or to continue a level you have just lost

The optional ones are always your choice. Collection items only change how the cabins, cables and mountains look, never how the game plays, and a lost level can always be played again without watching anything.

To select and measure those ads, Google AdMob receives:

• your device's advertising ID, on Android
• an approximate location worked out from your IP address — a region or city, never a precise position
• basic device information, such as the model, operating-system version and language
• whether an ad was shown, viewed or tapped

AdMob does not receive your scores, your progress, your settings, or anything else from inside the game. Gondly sends it nothing about you beyond the technical information above.

On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices, Settings → Google → Ads). Doing so stops it being used to build a profile across apps.

iPhone and iPad

On iOS, Gondly does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so Apple's Advertising Identifier is not used. Ads there are chosen without it, and the game works exactly the same.

Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Gondly shows you a consent form before it requests a single ad, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Your answer decides how ads may use your information, and it is recorded on your device.

You can change that answer whenever you like from Settings → Ad privacy options. That row appears in Settings only where the consent framework applies.

Your privacy choices in the United States

Some US states, including California, give residents the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for targeted advertising. Gondly never sells your information itself, but the advertising described above can count as sharing under those laws.

If you live in one of those states, Gondly shows you a privacy notice through Google's User Messaging Platform, and you can opt out there. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options, which appears in Settings where these laws apply.

Because Gondly holds no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete or correct on request. If you have a question about your rights, write to the address at the end of this policy.

Links out of the game

Where it appears, Settings → Rate Gondly opens the publisher's page in your app store. Gondly sends nothing when you use it; what happens there is covered by the store's own privacy policy.

Children

Gondly is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, please write to the address below and we will act on it.

Your choices

• Erase everything the game holds — Settings → Reset all progress, or uninstall Gondly.
• Change your ad consent, or opt out of targeted advertising in US states — Settings → Ad privacy options (where it applies).
• Reset your advertising ID on Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Because we hold nothing about you, there is no account for us to delete and nothing for us to export. Your data rights are exercised on your own device, using the controls above.

Changes to this policy

If the game changes what it does with information, this policy is updated and the date at the top changes with it. The same text appears inside the game and on the web page linked from the store listing, so the copies never drift apart.
