Chompa (“the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a neon maze arcade game published for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Chompa you agree to this policy.
Chompa includes an optional global Arcade leaderboard. When you set a new personal-best Arcade score, the app uploads:
These are stored on our leaderboard service (hosted by Supabase) and shown publicly on the global board so players can compare scores. Each entry is linked only to a random, app-generated device identifier — never to your identity, email, or Google account. If you never beat your score, or play only Campaign/Daily, nothing is uploaded. Please do not enter personal or offensive information as your display name.
Chompa shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process a device advertising identifier (AD_ID) and standard technical/usage information. Chompa requests non-personalized ads and limits ad content to a general-audience rating. You can remove all ads with the one-time “Remove Ads” (or “Ultimate Bundle”) in-app purchase. Google’s handling of ad data is governed by Google’s own policy: policies.google.com/privacy and support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
Chompa offers optional one-time in-app purchases (Remove Ads, cosmetic packs, a buff pack). Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive only a confirmation of which product you purchased so the app can unlock it — we never receive or store your payment card, billing address, or Google account details.
Your game progress, coins, unlocked cosmetics, streaks, and settings are saved locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data is not uploaded to us and is not readable by us. Removing it is entirely in your control (see “Your choices” below).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.
We share information only with the service providers needed to run these features:
Chompa is a general-audience arcade game and is not directed to children under 13. It contains ads and in-app purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted a display name to the leaderboard, contact us and we will remove it.
Leaderboard data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and retained only as long as needed to run the board. Local game data remains on your device until you clear it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Chompa after an update means you accept the revised policy.
