To personalize your hydration goal, Brim asks for information such as your sex, age, weight, height, activity level, and climate, and lets you log drinks, electrolytes, reminders, and preferences.
All of this is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to us, never linked to your identity, and never leaves your device through the app itself. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted.
Reminder notifications. If you allow notifications, Brim schedules hydration reminders locally on your device using the operating system's notification service. No notification data is sent to us or to any server, and no push-notification service is used. You can turn reminders off in the app or block notifications in your device settings at any time.
Brim is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, a Google service. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process:
This processing is performed by Google, not by us. We do not receive your name, email, or precise location. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own policies:
You can limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), where you can also reset or delete your Advertising ID.
We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we do not sell your data.
We do not share the information you enter in the app with anyone. The only data shared with a third party is the advertising data described in Section 2, which is handled by Google AdMob to provide ads.
Information you enter stays on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Because we never receive this data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. To delete advertising identifiers, use your device's ad/privacy settings.
Brim is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your personal hydration data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security (lock screen, encryption, OS sandboxing). No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but keeping data on-device significantly reduces exposure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at greysonmiller67@gmail.com.
